Hops by 41zero42 is a white-body single-fired ceramic wall tile collection offered in Bianco, Grigio, and Nero. Each color is available in both matte and glossy surfaces, giving the compact 3×6-inch format two distinctly different expressions.
Hops focuses on achromatic color and surface rather than graphic decoration. White, grey, and black can be used independently or combined, while the matte and glossy finishes introduce changes in reflection and perceived depth.
The manufacturer characterizes the matte surface as denser and the glossy surface as more fluid, reinforcing the contrast between the two finishes even when the same color is used.
Hops is a white-body, single-fired ceramic wall tile with a 10 mm thickness. Both matte and glossy versions are produced in the same 3×6-inch size.
Hops is intended for wall applications. The small rectangular format can support running-bond, stacked, or other geometric layouts where the relationship between grout, finish, and the three-tone palette becomes part of the design. Application beyond walls is not listed by Tile X Design.
The primary specification decision is finish. Matte and glossy versions share the same nominal format and colors but interact differently with light.
Hops is currently listed as a special-order European collection with an estimated 10–16 week lead time. Confirm availability and lead time before ordering.
Both finishes use the same 3×6-inch format and three-color palette. Matte provides a lower-reflection surface, while Glossy creates a more reflective glazed appearance.
Because both versions are offered in the same nominal size and colors, they can be considered together when developing a finish-based pattern. Final layout and caliber compatibility should be confirmed when ordering.
No. Hops is recommended for wall applications only.
The collection’s V2 classification indicates relatively slight visual variation compared with highly varied collections.
