R-Evolution by Casalgrande

Collection Summary

R-Evolution by Casalgrande Padana is a concrete-effect porcelain stoneware collection designed for a metropolitan style. Beyond classic concrete shades such as White, Grey, Dark Grey, and Black, it offers unexpected colors including Azure, Blue, Green, Pink, Sand, Terra, and Tortora. Tiles are 10 mm, from 12×24″ to 24×48″, with square and hexagon mosaics. Two-tone Stripes decors and Row and Inserto pieces allow custom layouts. Color range plus a modular pattern system is the collection’s differentiator.

Design & Aesthetic

R-Evolution treats concrete as a base for color. The neutrals cover a conventional concrete scheme, while the colored options let a floor or wall carry a single saturated tone with the same concrete texture. The Stripes decor (60×120 cm) pairs two colors in four combinations: White with Black, White with Grey, Sand with Tortora, and White with Blue. Row A–D and Inserto pieces, sold separately, can be combined into unique patterns, and Tile X Design tags the collection for plaid-style layouts. Tile X Design rates the collection V1, so colors stay consistent across a field.

Design Applications

Casalgrande Padana describes R-Evolution for residential and commercial interiors and exteriors, including façades. Tile X Design lists floor and shower-floor applications and associates the collection with bathrooms, kitchens, feature walls, and fireplace surrounds. Scenarios include color-blocked retail or restaurant floors, patterned plaid-style layouts built from Row and Inserto pieces, and colored bathroom floors with hexagon mosaics in the shower.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do the Row and Inserto pieces work in R-Evolution by Casalgrande Padana?

Row A–D and Inserto are separate pieces that combine into custom patterns, such as plaid-style floors. They are sold separately, so plan the layout and quantities first.

Can I use one of R-Evolution’s colors across a whole floor?

Yes. The colored options share the concrete texture of the neutrals and come in the same field formats, so a single color can cover a full room.

Is R-Evolution suitable for wet areas?

Tile X Design lists Shower Floor, and an Antislip 12×24″ is available. The published Naturale rating is R9; confirm the Antislip rating against the project’s requirements.
