Tavolato by Casalgrande Padana is an antique wood-effect porcelain stoneware collection with a distinctive wood-grain surface and warm, contemporary colors. Six colors, Sbiancato, Grano, Marrone Chiaro, Marrone Medio, Marrone Scuro, and Antracite, come in a naturale finish. Planks run from 6×20″ to 6×47″, 8×47″, 12×47″, and 24×47″ (the 120 cm format), with 12×12″ and 24×24″ squares, Chevron A and B pieces, and a Cassettone decor. Laying flexibility, with herringbone, straight, and diagonal patterns, is the collection’s main design advantage.
Tavolato reads as antique timber rather than new boards. The palette runs from pale Sbiancato (bleached) and Grano through three browns, Marrone Chiaro, Medio, and Scuro, to dark Antracite, so it covers both light, minimal rooms and deeper, classic ones. Plank widths from 6″ to 24″ and the chevron pieces let a single color form a herringbone floor, a chevron, a straight-lay plank floor, or a diagonal layout. The textured surface and V2 variation support the antique character.
Tile X Design lists Tavolato for floors, and Casalgrande Padana describes it for residential and commercial settings. Scenarios include herringbone floors in living and dining areas using the 6″ planks, chevron entries or hallways, wide-plank 24×47″ floors in open-plan spaces, and commercial hospitality floors that want an antique wood character. Trims include a 7×120 cm bullnose, 30×120 cm step tread, and 120×33 cm assembled step and corner pieces.
Yes. Casalgrande Padana describes Tavolato for herringbone, straight, and diagonal installation, and Chevron A and B pieces are offered for chevron layouts.
Narrow 6″ planks suit herringbone and detailed patterns; 8×47″ and 12×47″ give a classic plank floor; 24×47″ reads as a wide-board floor with fewer joints.
Tile X Design lists floor use and associates Tavolato with bathrooms. The naturale finish is rated R9; confirm it meets the slip requirement for the specific bathroom floor.
