The production of advanced, eco-friendly ceramic materials that strike just the right balance between respect for natural resources, environmental protection, technological progress, economic growth and social responsibility is profoundly rooted in Casalgrande Padana’s DNA. Free from glazes and made exclusively from natural raw materials, the ceramic tiles are obtained using a closed-loop production process, in which elaborate anti-pollution equipment allows for the recycling and complete recovery of all the components, with substantially zero emissions and dispersion. Resistant, long-lasting and reliable, ceramic material is a decidedly eco-sustainable project design option.

The Marmora porcelain stoneware tile collection is environmentally sustainable, fully recyclable, fire-resistant, and frost-resistant. It also has high flexural strength and load resistance and can withstand any climate. All these features make for long-lasting tiles that won’t fade or warp over time. Moreover, these tiles are non-allergenic, odourless, and extremely easy to clean because their surface doesn’t retain dirt and bacteria. But that’s not all. The Marmora collection can also undergo the Bios Antibacterial® and Bios Self-Cleaning® treatments. Bios Antibacterial® helps remove 99% of the four main bacterial strains, thanks to its technology that’s always active, day and night. Conversely, Bios Self-Cleaning® is ideal for façades. In the presence of sunlight, this treatment triggers a reaction that reduces bacteria and air pollutants and breaks down dirt deposits. These deposits are then washed away by rainwater, thanks to the superhydrophilicity of the ceramic surface.

The Marmora collection replicates the low-relief veining of select marble surfaces with pleasant tactile sensations, thanks to a sophisticated production process that blends different structures and graphic details to achieve porcelain stoneware tiles with perfect depth and volume. Marmora has four finishes: Honed, Lucida, and the new Smooth and Vein-Touch. The smooth finish gives the surface a silky, sophisticated appearance, while the Vein-Touch finish provides an antiqued, super-realistic three-dimensional look, enhancing every detail.
