HYDRO BAN

HYDRO BAN^® is a thin, load bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that does not require the use of fabric in the field, coves or corners. HYDRO BAN is a single component self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. It bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.

Antimicrobial technology is integrated during the manufacturing process to provide around-the-clock product protection against the growth of stain- and odor-causing microbes, including bacteria, mold, and mildew.

• Allow for flood testing in 2 hours at 70°F (21°C) or higher (Refer to cautions section for more information on curing)
• Does not require the use of fabric (For gaps 1/8″ (3 mm) or less see DS 663.5 for complete instructions)
• Thin; only 0.020–0.030″ (0.5–0.8 mm) thick when cured
• Bonds directly to metal
• PVC and ABS plumbing fixtures only

PREFORMED CORNERS

HYDRO BAN^® Inside & Outside Corners make waterproofing fast, easy, and reliable. These durable, flexible components are designed for use with inside or outside corners in showers and wet areas. Preformed and fleece-backed, these corners accommodate a range of installation preferences and performance requirements.

Use in conjunction with HYDRO BAN^® Sheet Membrane, Sealing Tape, Collars, and other accessories for a complete waterproofing system. The sturdy yet pliable construction allows the corners to easily conform to angles and substrates, creating a continuous waterproof and vapor barrier. Installed with adhesive mortar, these components are ideal for use in high-performance environments such as steam showers, bathrooms, and wet rooms.

This solution addresses common leak points and ensures long-term protection at changes in plane and corners —making these components essential for high-quality corner waterproofing efforts.

PREFORMED NICHE

HYDRO BAN Preformed Niche is a component of the expanded HYDRO BAN line of waterproofing products that allow for high quality rapid shower installations. HYDRO BAN Preformed Niche is constructed of lightweight high-density expanded polystyrene with a waterproof finish and is ready to tile.

PIPE COLLAR

The HYDRO BAN^® Peel & Stick Pipe Collar is a preformed, self-adhering waterproofing component designed to provide reliable seals around pipe penetrations. This accessory eliminates the need for field fabrication or modification, reducing installation time and the risk of leaks at critical transition points.

The ¾” (20 mm) Pipe Collar fits ½” – ¾” (12.7 – 20 mm) pipes and is compatible with HYDRO BAN Sheet Membrane, HYDRO BAN Board, and liquid-applied HYDRO BAN waterproofing membranes. This peel-and-stick component features an inorganic adhesive, reducing the risk of mold or mildew growth while speeding up installation time.

Pre-formed for consistency and reliability, these collars are essential components in a complete LATICRETE waterproofing system.

ADHESIVE & SEALANT

HYDRO BAN Adhesive & Sealant is a one-component, fast-curing, hybrid elastomeric adhesive and sealant. This product is specifically formulated to meet today’s Green Building Standards and has excellent adhesion on a wide variety of substrates. For use with HYDRO BAN Pre-Sloped Shower Pan, HYDRO BAN Preformed Seat, HYDRO BAN Board, HYDRO BAN Preformed Niche, HYDRO BAN Pre-Sloped Ramp, HYDRO BAN Preformed Curb and HYDRO BAN Preformed Curb Overlay.
