Oakbricks by Ceramica Magica is a glazed porcelain stoneware collection inspired by oak, made in Italy by Terratinta Group. It is produced in a single 4.8×45 cm (2″x18″) matte format, 9.5 mm thick. There are six colors: Birch, Natural, Honey, Walnut, Brown and Burnt. The collection’s defining feature is its narrow, brick-like proportion. Oakbricks brings the look of wood into compact strips that suit laid patterns and smaller areas rather than full-length planks.
The six colors move from pale to dark:
Ceramica Magica describes a tactile surface intended to echo the feel of wood. The manufacturer’s catalog shows four laying schemes for the format.
Oakbricks is glazed porcelain stoneware (Group BIa GL, water absorption ≤0.5%) under EN 14411 / ISO 13006. The manufacturer rates its shade variation V3 (high), so tone and grain differ noticeably from piece to piece, as they would in natural wood.
Tile X Design lists Oakbricks for floors and walls. The manufacturer notes that the 4.8×45 cm size works for both traditional and contemporary layouts and covers small areas easily. That makes Oakbricks practical for patterned floors in compact rooms, feature walls, and wood-look accent zones where a full plank format would be oversized.
Birch is the lightest, with creamy white and light beige tones and fine, even grain. Honey and Natural add warmth. Walnut, Brown and Burnt suit darker, more enveloping schemes, and Burnt shows the deepest tones.
Oakbricks is a 2″x18″ strip rather than a long plank. It is better suited to patterned layouts and small or detailed areas. The trade-off is more joint lines, so plan grout color as part of the design.
Oakbricks is rated V3, or high variation. Expect clear differences in tone and grain between pieces. Blending tiles from several boxes during installation gives the most natural result.
Tile X Design lists Oakbricks for floors and walls, and the matte surface is rated R10 with a DCOF above 0.42. Shower use is not listed by either source. Confirm wet-area suitability with your Tile X Design representative and the manufacturer before specifying.
